Output Messenger Client Customization

Question

We are looking to deploy this application to 100 workstations and would like to customize the options such as settings/other options/chat.  New chat window should popup" always on top" where the default is" non-disturb display".

Is there a way to set these options administratively?

I am also going to be in the same shoes as you.  I have a feeling it will have to do with the OM.db3 file.  This is something I want to know as well for new deployments and also if we make a company wide change that I want to apply to all of the clients.

Example, I want all the clients to have "Show offline users in separate group" to be unchecked (default is checked), New Chat's to popup in minimized state, but turn on Show Messages at Righthand Corner of screen etc.

I can easily deploy this out as part of the MSI install so long as there is a way to with the client software.

This is where I need the blank filled in:

Step 1: Install MSI

Step 2: Copy custom client config settings over (user config settings and also ip address etc)  - need your suggestion here as the creator of the application.

Step 3: Successful deployment :)

Right now, it is not possible as the database file will be generated in a folder based on user logged in to the client.

We will consider providing setting change options directly in Server.

Will try to add this feature soon.

A default profile I feel is essential before we purchase & deploy.  We will be getting the 500 user option so to have to manually make all those changes X 500 is going to be a pain.

For now, We will add as parameters to MSI installer file & in 1 or 2 days will get back to you (in email).

Also in Server Manager, we have substantive Client settings control in centralized location.
