Separate Announcement tab

Question

Having used few other LAN messengers in the past, I miss having direct access to all announcements at a glance. Would love to see a separate tab for all Announcements like you have for Notes, Reminders and Email. This will give direct access to all past announcements, used as future reference, or send an announcement that will go out to all users in the organization (both online and offline) without having to select each user group.

Is this already there which I missed, or is it something coming up as new feature? Thanks

Sorry, we don’t have a separate menu for Announcement.

Anyhow, you can view all past Announcements through the Client option ‘View Log’ (which can be accessed just by a Right Click on Output Messenger Users window).

At View Log page, select the day(s) for which you are going to search the announcements then click on the ‘Announcement’ icon as like the following screenshot. Now, you will get the list of past announcements for the days you selected.

Also you can send Announcement to all users (Online as well as Offline users), by selecting ‘All Users’ on ‘To’ field as like the screenshot attached below.

Thank you for your comprehensive reply. Looking for that All Users option is not intuitive. But that works for me fine. Still then, I would request for separate Announcement tab for ease of use and access.
