in Feature requests by (160 points)
It looks like awhile back a feature was requested and implemented where users could now receive group chat messages even if they're offline (once they log back in they receive all the messages that were sent while they were offline)

Our managers are currently requesting the opposite; when they send a message to a group they want the Offline members NOT to receive the messages. The team requesting this send ALOT of Group Messages throughout a single day and the problem is that when the offline members log back in to their PC they get all the group messages at once, and the messages are not even relevant to them anymore. All the messages coming in at once frequently slows the computer down considerably and will lock up the PC or program as well, sometimes requiring a reboot of the PC.

Could a an option be implemented where this Feature could be enabled or disabled? (e.g. Group Members receive Group Chat messages even when offline? On or Off / Enable or DIsable)

I suggested they could create custom groups but they don't want to have to do that every single time they send a group message since they send out so many messages and they have different people offline each day/throughout the day. If this feature could be disabled so that only Online users receive the messages that would solve the problems we're having with the program, unless there is some other way they can make sure only users currently online receive the messages besides setting up a custom group for every message.

The post I found that looks like it was requesting this feature originally is called "Adding Offline Users to group chat?", I'm fairly certain that is the feature they're using, Group Chat and not one of the others.

Thanks!

We will consider the option 'Add Offline Users to group chat' and implement in our future version release.

Thanks for your suggestion.
