Is there an API for responding for receiving messages?

I see a way to post a message to a user or chat room - is there a way for an API to receive messages from users?

Sorry for the delay.

You can Send Notifications only using API and can’t able to Reply.

Anyhow, you can send Reply message also as Notification through API.
